I enjoyed this mount but wanted the camera a little further from the print bed. I elongated the arm by 60mm and then also lengthened the mount point so it can accommodate a thumb screw such as this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2749041 After using this for a while I found that it was still not far enough for larger prints. Given that I use Octolapse, the Y axis doesn't need the full horizontal view of a 16:9 camera (like my C920). I decided to alter the mount a second time to give a portrait mount point for the camera. To allow this to print without supports I had to then move the camera cable clips to the opposite face. The downside is that it makes the wire more visible. I don't see why this wouldn't work for any light weight webcam that mounts with a 1/4" screw. The clips were designed by jsund to accommodate a 30mm cable. I've only tested it with a Logitech C920.
