Elysian style Shield Generator prop for Orion Sphere LRP (http://www.orionspherelrp.co.uk). This is a riff on my earlier generic shield generator design, with a more organic and crystal-based aesthetic to better suit the Elysian Commonality faction. Orion Sphere LRP is a science fiction live roleplay game that run events in the UK. Players take on the role of starship crews, companies and research institutes, as one of a host of alien species and in one of four competing Factions. The main portion of the ring is a solid top and bottom, and joins together with some of the holding pins (glue it all together). The Power_In and Power_Out sections are linked shells that should be large enough to hold an Arduino Nano, LEDs & some coin cell batteries, and there is a hole for a button to be mounted. The outer section should connect to the inner section via screws so you can open it up to replace batteries etc. The power section connected to the rest of the ring via the small hexagonal joining crystals. The Upright Crystal and Cage sections fill in a hole in the main ring section. If you want, you can print any of the crystals in a transparent or translucent filament and they should allow for illumination (although I havent tested this). Everything is designed to be printed in a 10cm cube build area, although you can enlarge the whole thing if you have a bigger printer. There are 2 flat areas on the back with holes to attach a metal belt loop or other attachment point. Please share any makes or painted versions you have, and feel free to remix your own versions.
