eMAKER Huxley Remixed Bowden Extruder for use with E3D V6

Comments This extruder part was remixed in order to support the official E3D V6 Lite Bowden extruder 1.75 fitting. This part was required because the original eMAKER Huxley only permitted a 2.2mm PTFE tube. E3D ships with a 4.2mm tube. We purchased the hardware from Home Depot in the Pipe fitting section. The Part number was LFA-708. It was a 1/8FIP brass Cap. We drilled out the center to push the PTFE tube all the way to the hobbled bolt for better alignment and increased support for flexible filament. You will have to drill out the part on the brass fitting side to the hobbled bolt as well. (assuming you want to go with the extended PTFE option) We used a 11/64 standard size bit (~4.31mm). If possible use a drill press to ensure that it is straight. You may have to file down the stepper motor bracket a bit. we took the holes down about 2 mm to make sure the gears were not binding. If you hear a strange clicking sound its probably the stepper skipping because there is to much lateral torque on the driveshaft. (Catastrophic failure will ensue if you don't fix this IMMEDIATELY) We recommend printing our x axis mounting bracket (STILL UNDER DEVELOPMENT) for a complete solution for the eMAKER Huxley E3D Upgrade. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1350748 Print with support
