The primary components are FDM printed, while I opted for SLA printing of the dies and backstop to achieve the desired surface finish. I utilized a Markforged printer with CFF Kevlar reinforcement to print most parts, but they would likely function satisfactorily with regular PLA material as well. At 3DVerkstan (www.3dverkstan.se), we employ this method to press our logo into the watermarks on our training diplomas. When crafting your die, you will need to incorporate an embossed element onto the upper platen and a debossed component onto the lower platen. These features must be offset so that there is sufficient space between them.
