Embroidered Eye for Tux Plush

Embroidered Eye for Tux Plush

This embroidery design was created fro and donated to the Free Penguin Project (http://www.free-penguin.org/) some years ago. It is designed to fit perfectly their plush tux pattern to provide an easy way to apply eyes to the plush fabric before assembly. Instructions Print the PDF and use the centered crosshairs on the printout to find and mark the desired position on your fabric. Color 1 fills and borders the background of the eye, traditionally it uses white thread. Extra underlay is added to prevent show-through on textured dark fabric, as this was originally intended for placement on black, textured material for Tux. Color 2 fills and borders the iris. Traditionally this is black. Color 3 is the highlight on the iris. Traditionally, this is white. The thread colors are not stored in the standard DST file,so the thread choice is, of course, entirely up to the machine operator.
