Together with the [DRO](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3095525) will these two give you precise measuring on both axles. It is made to hold a dial indicator with 8mm stem. Two M4 machine screws/nuts are used to clamp it together. I have used PLA and it seems to work good but more rigid material is better.
