Emergency Energy Drink Box

This is a box to hold your favourite energi drink. This model has been designed to hold a can with diameter of 54mm and a height of 135mm. Approxemately the size of a small Red Bull or a soda can. The internal volume of the box is over sized to allow good side grip when removing the can, and can thus accomodate larger boxes. The absolutly max can dimmentions are 70mm in diameter and 155mm tall. We reccomend waiting for the bigger version of the box if you are going to use cans this big. Bigger version is comming as soon as we finalize the standard version. There are channels to run USB power for LED inside the box. The box can be used both with and without an LED strip. This comes down taste :-) "Emergency" text is pressed in from the backside. Depenting on your printers flow calibration and filament used, you might need some superglue to make the letters stay in place. The rest of the text is made of vinyl, cut by a sticker cutting machine. Hinges: You can choose which way the door opens by which set of hinges are used. Prepare a filament scrap (must be uniform and undamaged), insert it through the hinges from the bottom. Flatten the top tip slightly with pliers, and pull slightly down so the filament sets. Use side wall cutters to cut the piece of filament below the hinge. Repeat for the other hinge on the same side. See pictures for end result. Acrylic glass: Approximately 136x71mm. The door frame allowes for some variation. -The door with tabs is for 2mm thick acrylic glass. -The door without tabs will accept acrylic glass in a wide range of thicknesses, but requires gluing the glass to the inside of the door. The pin holding the door shut can be made with many different mateirals. We used a piece of steel wire and a split ring from a key chain. As long as the pin you use is reasonable straight and has a smaller diameter than filament (1.75mm), it should be possible to use. The box is sequred to the wall with 2 screws (screw holes are located behind the drink can), or by command strip / tesa powerbond tape / doublesided tape that is rated to hold the weight.
