Emergency Money / Cash Key Chain

Emergency Money / Cash Key Chain

Greetings, This is not an original idea of mine, see the remix list for sources. These prior designs are perfectly functional, I just wanted to make some adjustments to the design that fit my liking. The breaking layer is 3 lines thick (3 lines x 0.4 mm). The rest of the key chain is 5~6 lines thick. This seems to be adequate for PLA. Be sure to rotate the model 90 degrees, the default orientation isn't correct. For the "Open" model, the hole in the bottom is big enough to insert a very tightly rolled bank note. The internal diameter is slightly larger so the cash cannot be removed / fall out. For the "Sealed" model, the bank note must be inserted during the print. In my experience, this window occurs between 86~89% completion. There is also a small groove to mark the last layers before the print closes the key chain. Once the print has completed the key chain must be broken to access it's contents. This key chain is sized for U.S. bank notes / dollars, which are about 65mm wide. Larger bank notes could probably be used at the appropriate print scale. I've also included the FreeCAD files if you wish to modify it that way.
