<p>Since I don't think I can print a 45 of "Brand New Key" by Melanie I decided to make the next best prop from the new season of The Kids in the Hall. This is from the restaurant sketch in the 8th episode of the season.</p><p>The larger size is about A5 size at 148mm (5.8") by 205mm (8.1"). The mini version is A6ish at 105mm (4.13") by 145mm (5.7").</p><p>I drew this to be FDM friendly but the bubbles are still a struggle at the A6 size. The “Detect Thin Walls” setting in Prusaslicer does a good job, but they're going to be cleaner at the larger size. The rough edges on a couple of the bubbles is an ironing artifact that wasn't cleaned up before photos were taken.</p><p>In both versions, the text/image are embossed from the base of the sign by 0.6mm. That's 3 layers of the 2nd color if printed at a 0.2mm layer height, which seems to work nicely. It's also evening divisible by 0.15 in case you need 4 layers instead of 3 based on your filament choices.<br><br>If you print this out and put it in your office's bathroom (next to a bottle of shampoo), I am not responsible for any consequences… but I would like to hear about them.</p><p><strong>Settings As Printed (mini):</strong></p><p>Layer Height: 0.2mm<br>3 Perimeters<br>Detect Thin Walls: On<br>10% gyroid infill<br>Ironing: Topmost Layer Only @ 10%<br>Jessie PLA in White base and Black Lettering</p>
