Empty your pockets!
thingiverse
This item is ideal for keeping your desk tidy, as well as serving as a "vide-poches" in French, which translates to pocket emptier. I've modeled it just for an illustration in a tutorial found here: http://www.reppersdelight.spacymen.com/index.php/post/2013/10/19/SketchUp-DesignSpark-tutorial. I've created three versions of this design, each with unique features to cater to different printing preferences and materials. Version 1 doesn't require support and has a flat base. Version 2 uses supports and is 2.5mm thick throughout. Version 3 requires more support but is thinner at 2.5mm, making it less prone to warping. Depending on the infill and support settings you choose, all versions should use similar amounts of material. Warpage may vary based on factors like printing with PLA or ABS and whether a hot bed is used. Therefore, these three options provide flexibility in choosing the best version for your specific needs.
