Enabling the Future. New combination of the unlimbited arm and the flexy hand

Hi everyone, I made this recombination for a school project. I had to come up with a subject where I could work on for at least 80 hours. I choosed to do my project about 3D-printed handprosthetics that's why I eventually made this recombination. It based on two designs of the Enabling Community Foudation: the flexy hand and the unlimbited arm. To make the perfect redesign, I started with some research about 3D-printing and handprosthetics in general. And then I did some research about how the Enabling Community Foundation used a new technology to deal with real world problems. I found this very inspiring and I really hope that the community will grow and grow untill all children with needs are helped. I know it is kind of a very high goal ;). But in order to do so I think more people should get inspired by the community, like I did. And that's the reason I am sharing my redesign. So I'm curious if you like it :). And If you wanted to know more about my project, my research and my inspiration don't hesitate to ask. I would love to send you my 70 pages project, even if i need to translate them for you. Overview and Background Bringing inspiration I would like to help you get more people inspired by the Enabling Community Foundation. So what I did in my project might inspire other people as well since it inspires me. What I did was de following: 1) Get to know 3D-printing. What is it? What are the possible techniques? 2) Get to know prosthetics. How does prosthetics makers work? What techniques do they use and so on. 3) Get to know the Enabling Community Foundation. How do they use a new technique to solve real world problems. 4) Redesigning two prosthetics from the Community Foundation and testing it. In order to redesign and eventually also improve the design of the community I used my updone knowledge about 3D-printing and proffesional prosthetics. I think this could be a very nice way to get techniques into a class. I have done all the research so if you would like to get my info about all the techniques and prosthetics, just ask.
