<p>IKEA Tradfri Home Smart is a great solution for home automation.<br>When it came to lighting the kitchen table, IKEA's driver solution was a big grey unit of only 10W (se photo) - there simply had to be a smarter solution...</p><p>My solution (Hack) is to use the cheap 19W power supply from IKEA (see picture) and move the ZigBee control board from the grey unit to a new much smaller 3D printed box.</p><p>It requires some soldering work and a few small screws, but then you have a solution that can draw up to 19W. Since the power supply is moved to the power outlet, it's easier to stash the little box away with the ZigBee control board.</p><p>Have fun ;-)</p><p><i><strong>>> If you like the model, please leave a like, a make or give it a rating… ;-)</strong></i></p>
