Enclosure for X-Toaster SMD reflow controller & PSU
thingiverse
This is an enclosure for the X-Toaster SMD reflow oven controller and a separate case for the PSU board as shown in the picture near the back of the toaster next to the large heatsink. The enclosure was designed with the back part mounted vertically on the oven, the front panel attached to the X-Toaster and the front assembly screwed to the box. It has a 5-degree incline angle for ergonomics. The holes are sized so that M3 screws should thread themselves in with a bit of care and lubricant. They measure 2.8-2.9mm, requiring slow turns at a time to avoid overheating the PLA. There is plenty of thickness in the standoffs on the controller box if you want to enlarge the holes for brass heat-inserts, but this is unnecessary unless you plan to frequently open the case. M3x12mm stainless cap head allen screws were used for all the holes.
