Early versions of the Jayco Expanda or similar have drop-down bed-ends, covered by canvas shade flys. These flys are supported by vertical poles that need to be pegged down for support. On concrete pad sites it is not possible to peg down the middle vertical pole, resulting in it just flapping in the breeze. This Thing comprises two three parts: a captive lock anchor for the 'pin' end of a horizontal telescopic extension pole, the horizontal extension pole (which you can buy from a camping store), and a ring end for the 'pin' of the middle vertical bed-end fly pole. The angle of the captive lock anchor can be modified to suit the angle of the caravan ends (usually different for front and back). Edit the SCAD files to suit. In windy conditions it is a good idea to lock the vertical pin of the ring end adapter with a locking collar (purchase from a hardware store).
