End Stop Mount for mUVe Printer

This Thing stores the printed components of an end stop mount for the mUVe 1.1 DLP printer (http://www.muve3d.net/press/product/muve-1-dlp/). It allows adjusting the end stop height using a thumb screw for fine adjustments. CAD was done in the cool new online OnShape. Check it out! http://onshape.com Instructions Download and print each of the STL files. I printed on a FlashForge Creator, 0.2mm thickness, 3 shells, 10% infill. Prints take about 15 minutes. Other Components: 1X MakerBot End Stop (with connector removed to access mounting holes). http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4971 2X M3x12 socket head cap screws (for mounting End Stop) 2X M3x10 socket head cap screws (for mounting Adj Mount) 3X M3 Nuts 1X small spring (fits around M3 screw; must compress to < 4mm length). This is probably optional. 1X MicroRAX nut plate (a few extra came with our mUVe kit) Assembly Instructions: De-solder/remove the connector on the MakerBot End Stop. Attach whatever other wires you want to use. Insert two nuts (press-fit) into the bottom of the End Stop Extrusion Insert. Insert the End Stop Extrusion Insert into the side of the 80/20 extrusion in the mUVe DLP's Z axis towards the middle of the printer. Thread two M3-12 bolts through the End Stop mounting holes, through the holes in the Spacer, with the flat side of the spacer facing away from the end stop. Attach the end stop assembly from Step 4 into the Extrusion Insert from Step 3 (see pictures). Insert a nut into the slot in the Adj Mount part. Insert the spring between the nut and the other wall of the Adj Mount (see picture...that's a SPRING, not threads on the lead screw). If a spring isn't available, super glue works too (just don't gum up the threads!) Thread the lead screw through the nut and spring. Insert the nut plate into the MicroRAX. Thread two M3x10 screws through the holes in the Adj Mount part and into the MicroRAX nut plate. Position all parts so they line up and tighten bolts.
