Ender 3 Bed Handle

Ender 3 Bed Handle

I wanted a bed handle, but not one that used the bed leveling screws (I have enough trouble leveling the bed as it is without pulling on the screws all the time!).

I found the Ender-3 Minimal Bed Handle by McCynic https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3368115

I loved the minimalist design (I'm moving the bed, not driving a race car!) but this one was designed to use the bed leveler screws. I added a clamp which uses 2 M4 nuts and 2 M4x16mm bolts.

I used Cura to make the clamp end 100% infill so it is as strong as possible. (You could just print the whole thing with 100%) You should probably use PETG or ABS, but I'm not there yet.

You'll notice in the pictures, I stuck a little scrap shim between the screws and the bed frame as I didn't want to scratch my beautiful new Ender 3 V2!

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

.2

Infill:

20%

Filament: Inland PLA+ Light Blue How I Designed This ===================

TinkerCAD

Category: 3D Printer Accessories
