Ender 3 Case for BTT SKR boards

Ender 3 Case for BTT SKR boards

thingiverse

This is an electronics case for fitting a BigTreeTech SKR board (tested with SKR 1.4 Turbo and SKR 2) to an Ender 3. All SD and USB-ports on the SKR board stay accessible with this case design. . . All mechanical connections are to be made using M3 and M4 hardware. . . The Case consists of 5 individual parts: -Main Case (takes the mainboard and the cooling fan) -Cable Guide (guides all the cables through the same cutout where they originally went) -4020 Cutout (covers the 4020 aluminum profile from the internals of the case) -Left Lid (includes a cutout for the cooling fan wires) -Right Lid (acts as an exhaust for the warm air in the case) . . I attached some Screenshots for printing guidance and support usage, as most of the case can be printed without supports, therefor I used Cura's support blocker plugin to reduce the amount of support printed and to keep it only in areas where it is really needed. . . Disclaimer: Fitment still needs to be confirmed outside of the CAD model.
