Ender 3 Damping Feet+ (Wider, friction elements, PETG)

So I absolutely love the damping printer feet created by Lazzymonk, remixed by hofftari, and eventually adapted for the ender 3 by redmaxver. Seriously, bravo because these things are awesome! I only had two issues with them with my first go at using them. I tried using these in a very warm (~55 C enclosure) which seems to have led to my first difficulty. As you can see in the 2nd image, the white PLA didn't fair so well under these conditions haha. This is due to a property called softening temperature, which occurs at around 50 C for PLA (Experimental value ;) Well as you can see, this heat, combined with the weight of the printer, was enough to pancake the dampers. To alleviate this, I printed new ones in PETG, which has a softening temperature of around 74 C (a theoretical value which I hope never to test out ;) This seems to have worked so far. My second issue was that I was using the dampers on a glass surface. Unfortunately, by lifting the printer off of its rubber feet using plastic, we lose the intended friction between the ender 3 and the table. It's a bit too slidey for my taste. To alleviate this, I added pockets for little rubber feet which you can buy at Target or on their website. Technically, they're rubber stoppers for cabinets, but they do the job here very well. Note, they come with a bit of adhesive on them, but I added some glue for good measure. This wasn't an option for me since I have it resting on a glass surface. Lastly, I made the dampers a bit wider for good measure. I hope some of this is of some use to somebody!
