UPDATE: It occurred that the mount itself is not strong enough to withstand fast retraction moves, which made it bend slightly. To avoid this, I added a smal rib to the fan mount which is connected to the extruder (see the white part in the newly added pictures). This prevents bending and I had no problems so far after extensive testing.
