Ender 3 Direct Drive Extruder

2020-03-28 this is a modification of the stock Ender 3 Bowden type extruder to a direct drive extruder. It is compatible to Creality's dual gear extruder module that can be purchased separately. I have made a screw hole on the filament release trigger and inserted 20mm M3 wrench bolt for easier pressure control while the original one works fine too without modification. It is compatible to my hot end mount and cover design found in my design library. I have adopted the all-metal hot end from Micro-Swiss for which PTFE tube required is ~47mm (insert inside Micro-Swiss hot end: 10mm, insert inside the dual gear extruder: 17mm and the distance between them: 20mm). For the stock hot end, the length should be 50+20+17=87mm. Please do try find right PTFE tube length for your system if you want to build one.
