Ender 3 extended extruder plate

It moves the extruder further to the center of the x-axis. With the V1 mount I was able to shorten the bowden tube with app. 6cm. With the V3 mount I removed an addtional 2cm. Uses M3x8 screws and low profile m3 nuts to mount the plate. Also requires slightly longer M3 bolts to mount the extruder & motor. Not really a remix, but inspired by the design of zimbozapp. V1: Original mount V2: Strengthened mount and added a hole for a zip tie V3: Mount now goes on top of the stock plate. The extruder is rotated 15deg and offset slightly closer to the x-axis. The retraction test in the pic was printed with the V3 mount and 2mm retraction. Please note: My extruder motor now runs warmer than normal. Not hot, just warmer. I measured it a 40c. This is probably because the stock aluminum plate acts as a heatsink. If you plan on using the extension, keep an eye on your extruder motor temperature. Use at your own risk.
