Ender 3 Filament Guide Block

Ender 3 Filament Guide Block

Designed this filament guide block to avoid using a top-rail type as I have very limited space where the printer is located. As well as guiding the filament it also prevents the filament touching the Z-axis leadscrew and as a nice bonus it makes loading filament easier too. The block is a perfect fit for the top of the Z-axis leadscrew guide plate and allows the use of existing screws and split washers. I printed this with the 'filament exit face' down and it printed very nicely. UPDATE: I've modified the design and will now print using a 0.4mm nozzle without creating a hole in the Z-screw side wall and is compatible with stock and alloy extruders. Photos of block printed using PETG+ and 0.4mm nozzle. Apologies for the fairly poor quality print but I've not had chance to tweak the CURA profile yet.... 22-03-19 Modified internal blend to aid loading of filament and increase strength of part.
