Inconspicuous channel for 10mm-wide LED strip (e.g. WS2812B or similar) that fits on Ender 3 cross-bar. Yes, you can print it on the Ender 3 220x220mm bed if you turn the model diagonally. It is 25 cm in length and uses T-nut shapes to slide into the 20x20 extrusion V-slots. Blends in with the cross-bar and nicely hides the LED pixels. I just used left overs from a 60 pixels/m LED strip and that means I can fit 15 pixels into the width precisely. It provides plenty of light and can be powered directly off the Raspberry Pi. The pwr/gnd/data wire runs easily in the V-slot on the power-supply side and then to the Raspberry Pi from where I control it using a simple Python script that receives commands (and broadcasts sate) over my Home Assistant MQTT bus. It allows me on/off and setting brightness and RGB colors; I felt no need for complicated effects in this usage scenarios, I then run this script as a systemd service: https://gist.github.com/tomikazi/1bb9d002292870b9c4c1e2b13996a001
