Ender 3 Magnetic Bed Alignment Clips

Ender 3 Magnetic Bed Alignment Clips

I recently bought a spring steel magnetic sheet for my Ender 3. The magnets are strong enough to hold the build surface down flat, but not strong enough to keep it from sliding around, so I made these little... posts, I guess you'd call them? Two for the front and one for the back (because the back on the other side has the wiring harness deal). Will need to be printed in a material that doesn't deform at the temperature of your build plate. I never use my Ender for anything other than PLA, so I used carbon fiber filled PETG which doesn't deform at the 60C bed temp. If your bed gets hotter than that, you'll probably want to get them machined or made in some really high temp stuff. Print first to make sure they fit :) EDIT: I guess it might work with a glass bed too, although I hate glass beds so I have not tried. If you do try and it works, let me know. A fellow maker tried it on the Ender 3 Pro with the stock magnetic bed, who said that the magnetic sheet that comes with the Pro is a little bigger than the bed, so he cut some notches into it to match up, and it's all fine. So if you're considering installing them on the Pro, just be aware of that
