I upgraded my 40 mm stock fan to an 80 mm fan and designed my own fan cover for it. I simply drilled 4 holes into the sheet metal cover for the fan mount and cut a large 80 mm diameter hole for the air to flow. I used an 80x10 fan as I found it fit nicely without having to try to mess with the wiring on the board too much.
