UPDATE 30 April 2019 New version here! This time, the roller can handle spools with inner diameter equal or greater than 50mm !!! To get a smooth filament spool holder and roller, why not use the printer's original one to avoid complicated and long to print objects? Here is my idea. Less than two hour printing time at slow speed, a bunch of M3 screws (I know you have them :D), a couple of bearings and... that's all. Tip 1: I struggled a bit with the spacers holes. A 3mm screwdriver solved my pain. Tip 2: Once installed the new components, unmount the original holder cylinder, insert the spool, then re-mount the holder (see attached pictures). Parts I used: 2 x generic 608 bearings 4 x M3x12 screws 1 x M3x16 screw (bearing with no roller stop) 1 x M3x20 screw (bearing with roller stop) Enjoy. Let's create stuff! Nio
