Ender 3 (Pro) - MKS Gen L Case

thingiverse

This design replaces the stock Ender 3 (Pro) mainboard case with one that fits the MKS Gen L. You can find very good information about this mod in [Teaching Tech's](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbgBDBrwsikmtoLqtpc59Bw) video guide. The aim of this design was to have a clean look (no fan at top or front) and still provide adequate cooling for TMC stepper motor drivers. In my setup, the 4010 fan blows air out of the box so that fresh air is sucked in directly above the stepper motor drivers. The case comes in two versions: one that covers the front of the 4040 rail, which the case attaches to, and one that does not. This case can be loosely seen as the counterpart to my Raspberry Pi case ([Model A+](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3338152) or [Model B+](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3384729)), but none of the designs requires the other. **Parts that I used:** - MKS Gen L V1.0 + Stepper Motor Drivers (TMC2208 in my case) - 4010 fan (40mm x 40mm x 10mm), the MKS Gen L supports 24V and 5V fans - 6x M3 8mm screws (mainboard mount, lid), 4x M3 12mm screws (fan), 10x M3 nuts A STEP file for modifications is included. Please let me know if you have comments on the design.
