this is a simple and effective fan cover - like the original, but with more space for a 40x40x20 fan. the 40x40x20 is more effective than the 40x40x10. so now you can wire a buck converter in front of it and make it much more silent. but do not think about installing any protective "whatever" in front of the rotor.> the fan is small and rotates too fast -> it will always end up with a very high-frequency and noisy tone.
