Hi, I've crated a simple, yet very effective solution for all of you there, that would like to have a budget direct drive solution on your Ender 3. Using an original or cloned BMG extruder u will have amazing results with flexibles and no stinging at all, really, no stringing with PLA or PETG. Putting the bracket on is simple, after printing it you will figure rest out. Nema 17 is an original one from Ender, but you can use slimmer Pancake Nema for weight reduction. Extruder is connected with original bowden tube cut to size. Have fun!
