To work underneath the machine is rather awkward, it doesn't stay still when placed on a table and makes life awkward. I searched for some standoffs but couldn't find anything (which I find surprising, as all of this really annoyed me!). I decided to make some quick standoffs that clear the Ender 3 V2 control screen and the x-axis belt adjustment. I fitted them to the right hand side by the screen, there's nothing stopping you from fitting them on the left hand side if you desire, or even both sides if you need to flip the machine from side to side! I made three sizes, all 95mm long with 5mm thick bases. The sizes refer to the size of the base, so the 40 20 is 40mm by 20 mm, to fit the vertical extrusion.and has two mounting holes. The 40 30 fits nicely behind the control screen and has four mounting screws as it fits a 40mm wide rail. the 40 60 is just a larger one with a larger diameter standoff, again four holes, the 40 30 could be used instead of this one. I used M4 x 10mm screws with standard T-nuts, this means they hold tight but are easily removed if required, the smaller one on the vertical extrusion is the only one you would have to remove, if you were making a tall print as it could limit the gantry's height. The standoffs are hollow to save on material, but have radiuses inside and out to keep them strong.. They work remarkably well, are sturdy and allow the printer to be flipped on its side giving great access to the motherboard and psu. One thing that might be advisable is to move the hotend to the end of the gantry as it's likely to move itself! They also make great handles to help move the printer! If you would like them longer or shorter, load them into tinkercad, cut them up and add in the required length. No supports needed. I printed them vertically, in low quality (0.28) but that's really up to you. Better quality would yield a nicer finish, but I did 'up' the infil to about 40% and the shell wall line count to 3.. I hope they come in handy for you.
