Modded the gantry adapter of the herome gen5 to move stepper motor and dual gear extruder in a direct drive configuration. Print this with "at least" 50/60% infill. Support required. Please note that by moving the stepper on the back of the hotend with the stock firmware you won't be able to correctly home the machine, you will want to move the x endstop or to add something to reach it. Your homing will also be messed up by herome moving the hotend 9mm ahead and you will need to take into account of the minor x space available. I'm also attaching a modified firmware for board 4.2.7 (modded from Jyers 1.3.3, bltouch support 3x3) to take care of the y shift and the reduced x space available (max 204mm). It is a heavy mod to do, proceed if you know what you are doing. You will also want to consider adding a second z axis motor to improve stability. Do not forget to update your slicer with the new bed dimensions: x=204, y=214, z=195 EDIT: I've added a version of the plate with the x-endstop incorporated. I've measured mine which is 12.2mm from the border of the plate. Please note that this version is UNTESTED: check manually that your motor is not crushing in the frame before the endstop is activated. It if works please leave a comment, thanks.
