A very simple remix of robertd33's design. I just moved the fan opening to the other side of the cover, so that I can fit a Sunon 60x15mm 24v fan on the inside of the control box. I reorganized the cables inside slightly, moved them to the sides and put the fan in in the same configuration as the stock fan (air flows in the control box). The fan is attached by standard computer fan screws and some rubber washers in between. While doing all this, I wired the new fan together with the hot end fan to the same terminal. Like that the control box fan is always on, so no overheating issues on long first layers or on prints with little cooling. The Sunon fan is less noisy then the stock fan, especially when running 100% all time. A very good upgrade for a few euros.
