UPDATE #2 4/7/21:
One of the great things about 3D printing is learning. And trying to remember some things you knew, but didn't use because your system didn't have that feature. In this instance, my printer was a Bowden style. When I added the direct drive feature, I forget to change the retraction amount. Larger prints didn't look that great, and anything with an Infill over 50%, had the problem I mentioned in my first update. I've not had the issue since I changed retraction to 1mm. This is still a WIP until I know for sure that was the problem.

UPDATE 4/7/21:
I do not like this design. During certain retraction/extrusion events, the adapter will pivot up in the back, then thump back down on the HeroMe base. It's pivoting where you'd expect, the groove that slips down over the Printermods plate. I'm looking into ways of mitigating this problem. I'd not seen any complaints about this on the original design, but I have to think it's there just by the design. The problem seems to present itself MUCH more often during prints with high infill rates.
______________________________________________

This is a remix of the HeroMe Gen 5 MDD adapter for the Winsinn dual gear extruder for the Ender 3 series. This is remixed from thing 4523499 by klsummers92 which was for the Printermods v1.2 mounting plate - it will not work with the v1.3 plate. The mounting holes do not line up with the plate This remix should work with the v1.3 plate, and I'll know for sure this week - which is why it's a work in progress still. Everything looks to line up during test fits. As recommended by mediaman this should be printed with at least 85% infill.
