After seeing the excellent version posted by patrickhacks, I wanted to design my own variant, ensuring a perfect fit to my printer. I started with a blank file and measured the original metal cover with my digital caliper. I wanted the walls to be 1.6mm thick, which represents 2 perimeters per side with a 0.4mm nozzle. I wanted it to have rounded corners and fillets as well as a reinforced vertical screw hole area, two pairs of slots for zip ties, etc. etc. Have a look at the 3D model and you will see the differences. When printed in good quality PLA, 0.12mm resolution, 100% infill, 4mm brim for adhesion (waiting for build plate to cool completely prior to removal), no supports, laying on the flat side, it ended up fitting perfectly on my Ender 3 V2. I love it.
