My Ender 3 V2 Extrusion has no threads for screws and I could not get the original mounted that I was happy with it, so I remixed the Base in a way that it will not require any screws because it just fits in the Extrusion. Seems to hold well, sure it is not as strong as a Base with screws, but it does its job :)
