Update 2021 January : fan duct for volcano heatblock is added - it fits perfectly for other elements. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - This is a modification of basic ender5 movement with use of 10mm linear rods and 29x19x10 linear bearings with BMG extruder and V6 hotend, making it a direct drive printer. Parts you need: 2x 10mm 410mm linear rods 2x 10mm 420mm linear rods (I'm using 4x 500mm long ones, and they stick little bit, but it's fine) 2x 5015 fans 1x BMG dual gear extruder 1x v6 hotend 1x 5mm 20T GT2 idler 1x extruder motor cable replacement or extension (at least 70cm long) 9x small zip ties 3x GT2 belts for 2xY and 1xX axis 8x M3 nuts (regular, non nylon) bolts: 1x M3x45mm (back of X carriage) 3x M3x35mm (for extruder to motor) 5x M3x20mm (for fans and front cover) 2x M3x15mm (for heatsink fan - M3x12mm if you use original creality 4010 fan) 3x M3x12mm (for X motor fixing) 1x M4x20mm (for left Y carriage idler - You can use M3x20mm instead) 4x M3X20 (corners fixing with T nuts to V-rails) 1x volcano hotblock - (optional, print right fan duct) Extruder fixing requires steps recalibration, but all others steppers are using the factory settings. I have changed extruder and X engine locations, so X carriage is lighter. Orange prints in picture are exact prints made after modification. Printing: PLA, 0.4 mm nozzle, 3 perimeters, 35% infill, 0,2mm layer height. Use supports touching buildplate
