Ender 5 Carriage Plate Drill Jig for H2 Extruder

'If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.' 3D printing is great, but it sometimes shouldn't be used when there are better choices available. It definitely shouldn't be used when there are better, simpler choices available. This is, very simply, a drill jig that fits over the carriage plate of the Ender 5/pro/plus and allows you to drill appropriately sized holes to match the attachment bolt holes on the BIQU H2 extruder. Then you can use 5mm spacers, some vibration resistant washers, and two 10-14mm bolts to attach the mount securely without printing a convoluted, relatively floppy, plastic mount. Wiring for the heatblock/fans can then neatly be pushed between the plate and the extruder to provide strain relief. For the brave, there's also a 3rd hole which can be drilled, and a matching hole can be drilled in the H2 extruder (having removed all the internal gearing and taken it apart first!). This allows a third spacer to be placed for an ultra stiff mount. Possibly useful if you're trying to print at really, really high speeds, but I don't advise using it. This may also work for the Ender 3/other models with a similar carriage plate - I haven't checked. I wanted to upload it as a customiser but it won't work. As such, tolerances on the STL are quite generous. Let me know if they're too much. You can always tweak the freecad file if you know how. Parts needed: - 2-3x 5mm M3 spacer - Set of vibration resistant M3 washers (I use nordlock) - 2-3x 10-14mm M3 bolts - depending on washers used, the length needed will be different.
