Ender 5 Crossbar Relocation Bracket

Ender 5 Crossbar Relocation Bracket

thingiverse

Move the front crossbar on your Ender 5 by relocating it to the front of the printer or just inside the front extrusion. This setup provides better visibility of the hot end and allows for cooling solutions that would otherwise interfere with the crossbar. To get started, you'll need six M5 x 8mm or 10mm button head screws and a set of M5 t-nuts. When installing the screw into the end of the extrusion, be aware that there is no tapped hole – simply force it in for now. However, tapping the hole would be a better approach. Printing with supports is recommended as this modification includes alignment tabs that fit snugly into the 2040 extrusion on your printer.
