This is my take on the Ender 5/Pro Dual Z axis support. I wanted to keep 100% of my build volume, and keeping it with relatively stock parts. Instead of using the 10mm rods, I downsized to 8mm rods to save a few dollars at what I believe is no loss of functionality. I bought all my parts on Amazon, but they can be sourced on Aliexpress or Ebay. My search found that it was only a couple dollars more to get the parts now vs wait 2 months due to shipping fees. I included spacers that I used for assisting alignment of the stepper mount and the linear rods. When assembling, the linear bearings are mounted with gravity holding them in place and screwing into slightly undersized plastic holes. Do not overtighten as the torque out value is low, but the linear pull out force required is more than sufficient to keep the bearings in place. If you have a problem getting the M4 nuts into the top half of the bracket, they can be pulled into their socket by using a screw. Just be sure to align the nuts prior to tightening them down. For the wiring, I spliced two 1.5m cables together as it was the cheapest option and I could custom make the length of each lead. You can buy a splitter cable or board for parallel stepper control as well. BOM: * 8mm x 450mm Linear Motion Rod - 2pcs * 400 mm T8 OD 8mm Pitch 2mm Lead 4mm Stainless Steal Lead Screw with copper nut * Rigid 5mm to 8mm bore coupler 23mm length * LMK8LUU Extra Long Square Flange Linear Ball Bearings 8mm bore diameter. * Creality 42-34 Stepper Motor * 1.5m Stepper Motor Cables 2 - 2pcs You'll also need an assortment of m3, m4, and m5 screws and nuts. Below is what I believe I used. However, you don't have to use these exact lengths. * m3x6mm - 8pcs * m3x8mm - 4pcs * m3x10mm - 4pcs * m4x16mm - 4pcs * m4 nut - 4pcs * m5x12mm - 8pcs * m5x10mm - 2pcs * m5 tnut - 10pcs
