Ender 5 Glass Bed Clip

Ender 5 Glass Bed Clip

thingiverse

This is a single clip for holding down a Borosilicate glass plate to the Ender 5s hotplate. I was trying to make something that looks less slapped-together than binder clips. The hotplate + glass were 6.2mm thick, so I made the clip have a clearance of 6.1mm. On top of that there is a small protrusion to make it a little tighter on one end. The clip extends 4mm over the build plate, which from my understanding is just short of where the hotend can reach. I printed it in PETG, so it would be suitable for a PLA-temperature hotbed. It can and will warp at higher temperatures. I will experiment in future versions to try and reduce the warping or make it so that warping won't affect performance somehow. ###EDIT If you do print this and use it, let me know if you have any feedback. I would like to improve it , especially if you find any flaws and pain points with it.
