This is a remix of the linear rail X-Axis conversion kit by SnakeP on thingiverse.

It's different in 4 ways:

a bit easier to install (comes in two parts - no worries, it's still incredibly strong)

the top can hold any upgrade the user would like to design (6 mounting points for M3 screws.)

if desired you can attaches the stock plate to this adapter with a third screw. the stock plate has to be drilled though. Note: It's dimensioned for an M3 Insert! The other two that connect to the plate are M4 instead!

the geometry is a little cleaner and simplified.

Design your own compatible upgrades like a custom strain relief, easily mount your accelerometer for input shaping with Klipper, add a dragchain that works for your setup, add more stability to your DDX Hotend/Extruder or do all of it at once :D

The modular platform is designed to work with Ruthex M3 threaded inserts. You can find the dimension/positions of the mounting points in the CAD-drawing in the pictures

If you build and upload compatible plates, let me know. I will gladly Link your creation!

Required:

MGN12H rail and bearing

9x Ruthex M3 threaded inserts

2x Ruthex M4 threaded inserts

Print with PLA, PETG or PA12 and give it 3 perimeters for the inserts to work properly.
