*Please do note* that I had two heatcreap clogs with this setup one at a highly detailed moon model which was 3 days long, heatcreap occured after the 2nd day. The other heatcreap was at a half way through a 12h long lithophane (at 30mm/s). Both clogs were with 205C PLA, 4010 hotend fan, closed but otherwise unheated enclosure, 1mm retraction. Since that, I opened the enclosure for ventillation, lowered the PLA temp to 200C, lowered the retraction to 0.8mm, replaced the PTFE between the V6 and Titan to Capricorn and successfully completed quite a lot of prints some of which were 12h-13h lithophanse and a 2D8h moon print - no clogs so far. However, I still believe that the design could be improved. When I disassbled the whole thing after the clog, I noticed that the very bottom fins of the heatsink of the V6 is beneath the HeroMe cooling duct. I think the thermals would be much better if the Hero Me cooling duct would reach the lower heatsink fin too. This is something I want to improve in the future, but upon request I wanted to post the current state. *Please use it at your own risk with the above in mind, and don't leave long prints unattended* This model has been tested with the following configuration: - Ender 5 - E3D V6 hotend - E3D Titan extruder in direct drive - Linear rails with Printermods MDD conversion kit - Printermods MDD hotend carriage plate - Creality stock 4010 hotend cooling fan - Single 5015 part cooling fan - Geniunie BL Touch _It should be_ compatible with other Gen 2 Hero Me compoents like other cooling ducts or ABL mounts but that's something I haven't tested. Your mileage may vary. For me, after assebly the X endstop was out of reach for the hotend carriage plate, so I included a mount for that too - T nut required. You might not need it if you don't use linear rails. This posting doesn't include the part cooling fan duct and ABL mount. You can source that from the Hero Me Gen 2 posting of the original author.
