If you ever had to remove the Ender 5 S1 hotend to clear a clog then you'll know how annoying it is to reattach the hot end fan to the heat sink. The OEM Ender 5 S1 uses 6mm spacers that sit between the heat sink and the 40mm fan. This piece was designed so that you can thread the fan screws into the piece keeping everything in place while you position it back over the heat sink for reinstallation.
