Ender 5 S1 Printing Issue

So I just got my Ender 5 S1 and had a buddy who is very skilled with 3D printing help me set it up with bed leveling since that was the hardest part for me and then we got on our way to printing until we encountered an error. The printer will draw the thick line we made (easier to peel off the superly adhesive plate Creality gave me) and right away stop and say "Load filament". The gcode being used is 100% identical to the starting gcode which was given to me for the benchy boat but only difference is we made the thickness (E20/E40) bigger and instead of a ~180mm line we made it 100mm. The moment we slice this and upload the printer fails AFTER drawing that line. The same thing is done if we take the originally benchy boat - change that line setting to be thicker and the printer stops after the line is drawn. So no matter what print we try - the printer stops after the line with the gcode settings we made. I hooked up the printer to the laptop and did the debug console, all it says "echo: insert filament and send M108". Now on the screen of the printer I can hit "Yes" - to continue print and that filament is loaded or "Cancel Print". The filament IS loaded and is NOT stuck. So why am I getting this problem? If I do the little thickness line everything works fine but the moment I create a thicker line as the primer test/line test before the print everything breaks.
