Ender Xtender Horizontal Power Supply

Ender Xtender Horizontal Power Supply

So, follow me if you have upgraded your Ender 3 or Ender 3 Pro with an Ender Extender kit. There is a shorted of support files for that upgrade on Thingiverse...which makes a nitch for me to fill. I will be posting a lot of files to help transition from one build to the other. This is a horizontal housing for the PSU, using some of the meshes created by jk_Printer. It should work with ANY of the Ender Extender kits, regardless of size. Mine is a 300x300x400, so I made this for that, but it should work with the others. Let me know if it does not. There are two versions here. One that will fit inside the base of the frame and another that seats on the outside of the frame, behind the lcd screen location. The inside the frame version has 3 parts; The rear, the front end (with vents), and then the switch housing. You will need a couple of M3 screws to secure the switch housing to the front end. To install the inside the frame version, you will remove the power supply, use some screws to seat the PSU in the rear and front end pieces, and seat the switch and Power jack into the switch housing (you may need to remove the wires from one end or the other and then reatach them in order to get the switch in place). You will then slide the assembly (without the switch housing screwed down but just kinda hanging there) into the railing from the rear of the printer, removing the rear base bar to allow entrance. Then, return the base bar. Finally, seat the switch housing in place and screw it down to the front end. The second version will slide on from the rear along the outside of the printer, and is labeled parts A and B without inside in the title. Follow the instruction above, but the switch housing is part of the front end on that version. Hope you like this. I love it. You will need to get your PSU out of the way if you plan on having a dual z axis, and that was the main reason I had to make this. I'm going to be uploading a lot of support files for the belt driven dual z axis mod from BangGood as well, so stay tuned. Feel free to comment or ask questions in the comments. I check back here often.
