Ender3 Z Endstop Elevation Block
thingiverse
A versatile Z-axis end stop lifting block. I frequently alternate between the glass build plate for flexible filaments and the OEM build surface for rigid filaments. The simplest solution is to stack the poly build plate over the glass, then adjust a Z offset in the slicer software (Z Offset Setting by fieldOfView in Cura Marketplace). After installing a glass plate on one of my Ender 3's I found there wasn't enough clearance to loosen the bed-leveling screws on the right side of the heat bed. Re-squaring and tramming the X-axis bar reduced the problem but still didn't provide sufficient leeway to adjust the bed levelers. These lifting blocks offer a standardized lift distance to raise the Z-axis End Stop by 2mm, 3mm, or 4mm. The measurements are approximate, not exact.
