This is a model for an "expeditiously manufacturable" image intensifier tube for night vision devices. It features the tube itself, an integrated power supply, and a protective outer casing.The tube is designed to be made in ways that do not require a great deal of prior knowledge in tube manufacture. Most of the required knowledge involves thin film deposition of materials.The MCP (micro channel plate) of the tube can be made in 3 ways, two alternatives to the normal method currently used.The tube's specifications rely almost entirely on the construction of the MCP.
