Envelope Opener

Envelope Opener

thingiverse

This is an Envelope opener. Designed primarily to test embedded objects. However my printer does not have a filament change option or a pause function therefore a hack was used. This print was deigned with a Techni-edge #11 hobby blade (TE01-111). Since I do not have any original X-acto blades, I cannot confirm if the dimensions are correct. However I have made the blade profile with generous room. !!! Watch your print at .8~1mm!!! Insert the blade while the top block is being printed. I prefer to use glue (Elmer's the same I use for the build plate) on both sides of the blade to help with adhesion. !!! This is still a work in progress. There definitely can be some functional design changes. If you print this, please let me know how it goes! Additionally let me know if you're interested in a non-hack version.
