50 Caliber bullets can contain a variety of loads... This is a sabot housing for armour piercing projectiles. Cheap, durable and extremely easy to manufacture. The sabot can be easily pressed into place and should hold itself tight when squeezed into the casing preventing sabot fall out. No lube rings and no fouling, and drastically reduced muzzle wear from polymide projectiles.
