Youtube Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4KKI3Tsyt4 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This design (EP-1) pistol was never designed to be a real handgun or fire live ammo, the idea of EP-1 pistol is to emulate functions of real handguns and educate people on the different functions and parts of a handgun. what differs EP-1 from printing a real model gun is that EP-1 was designed keeping in mind that it would be printed from a 3d printer and mostly out of weaker plastics such as PLA, so EP-1 functions well and reliably despite being made of PLA plastics compared to printing a real model gun which don't last long because they are supposed to be made of metal and not PLA plastics. another pro of EP-1 pistol is you don't need fancy springs, all springs inside EP-1 are rubber bands or springs you can find in pens. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Things needed: -3d printer -3/4 1kg roll of PLA -small files for sanding -toothpicks (for pins. pins can also be printed) -standard rubberbands (mainspring) -smaller rubber band and/or spring
